AutoSum In Google Sheets Not Working

AutoSum in Google sheets may not work if,

  • Users double clicking on the AutoSum function instead of clicking once
  • Data including non-numeric values instead of numeric values
  • Including errors in the formulas

Important Things To Note

  • AutoSum feature is an inbuilt option in Google sheets and Excel.
  • Users can use this feature to calculate SUM, COUNT, MIN, MAX and other commonly used functions in Google sheets.
  • Instead of using inbuilt functions, we can use the AutoSum feature in Google sheets.
